The summer has passed and the fall is here. I remember you loved this time of the year, especailly when i would secretly carve a pumpkin and sneak it onto your steps. I miss my dear neighbor Miss Lonnie. It's almost a yea already since you've been gone, and it's just not the same around Hillcrest Drive as it used to be. I miss you Lonnie. xxxxxdeb

It's Christmas Eve 2007 and this is when I am thinking such fond memories of you. I don't know how we started exchanging gifts, but I always looked forward to seeing you...My heart is breaking as I write this to you. I look across the street at the house, and there is just an empty spot where you should be. You were the hub in the wheel that kept everything together, and I miss you so. Rest in peace my very good friend. I love you and always will.

Jim and everyone -- I'm so sorry to hear of Lonnee's passing. I lost my Dad two years ago from a long illness and I know its a very hard time for you all.
Lonnee was such a great woman and Mom to you all. I always felt welcome when I visited, even somtimes late at night dropping Jim off after a night on the town and a little too much fun ;-)
I remember sitting at your old kitchen table shooting the breeze with her while I waited for Jim to get ready, or maybe the bunch of us just hanging around. I always enjoyed talking with her.
Moms like that are a rare gift indeed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will celebrate her life and the love she had for all of you.
Love,
Roger Flynn
