Ed Singley
Good friends Arlene & Bill Rudd spoke of Ed so many times over the years that I felt like I knew him.. Also a Jersey City January baby, I also lived in Ridgefield Park and now in Rockaway, not far from Mr Singley's home. I wish I'd had the opportunity to meet your dad but I can see that his was a life well-lived. You have our sincerest condolences.

To All the Singley Family and Extended Family and to All of " Uncle " Ed's Friends (and I know there were many!) ... Our deepest heartfelt sympathy we reach out to you with. What a GREAT man!! I have known him all my life as his friendship with my grandmother (Maureen Gieser) goes way back. We have shared many family laughs over the years ... Him and "Aunt" Jo were always so much fun to be around! He has crossed over to be with the rest of them ... there must be one heck of a party going on!! Some day we will meet again. In the meantime, his love and essence lives on weaved in our lives, touching others in ways unbeknownst to us. May God bless Uncle Ed with peace.

So sorry hear of the death of Ed. Always a gentleman and much loved by all who knew him.
He along with his much loved wife Josie was so kind to myself and my husband when we came to NY and NJ in 1983.
It was a delight for me to return the compliment when he and Josie returned to Ireland a few years later. Such a lovely time we had reminiscing over old times when Ed met Josie during WW11.
My deepest sympathy to all his family and friends across the pond.
Condolences

I will always remember your kindness and taking me into your home when I was 17. You treated me like a daughter at a time when I most needed it and I am forever grateful. You raised such a wonderful family that will remain in your heart always. May you always rest in peace. Love Margaret
