Mary was a beautiful women with the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. Her smile and laugh were contagious. My prayers for the family which were such a big part of my life. Memories of Mary and I trying to roll out the dough for Christmas cookies brings a smile to my face. Her strength one could only wish we all could have that strength. Her wisdom to me many years ago lives in my brain today. God bless all her children, grandchildren, in laws and friends. She will be forever in my heart.

2 months ago, these two characters were 80 years apart in age, having a swinging contest together. That was Gram. We all really thought she’d live forever. She was a source of light, love and energy like no other. She was an artist, a healer, and the best Grandma and Great-Grandma anyone could be lucky enough to call theirs.. She knew how to live life- she saw the Great Pyramids of Egypt, stayed with a Shaman in the Amazon rainforests, skied the Alps. And still always managed to get your birthday card to arrive on time
If anyone believed in a world beyond this life, it was this woman. She didn’t just believe.. she KNEW. And as much as we can’t imagine this life without her in it, I have no doubt that she will make miracles happen from the other side. She lived for many years on a road called Upper Rainbow Trail, which was so fitting for her. Keep following the trail over the rainbow, G.G. love you more than words.

Our hearts will be a little bit emptier without Mary sharing our physical existence.
I always enjoyed her sharing her trips to Iceland from where I’ve just returned. I told her two days before I left that I was finally going and she was so excited for me.
Her beauty, her kindness and her spunk will live in our hearts forever.
I know she is at peace now, having rejoined her loved ones who passed before her. ❤️

Kathi, Jim, Sharon, Howie,Maureen, Russ and families,
You have been blessed with a most wonderous woman to call Mom, and her light and love have shown forth with such brilliance, she gained "family" along the way and has ingrained herself in hearts of everyone who has been truly blessed to have her cross their paths. I respected and admired her and learned much by knowing her.. A genuine, loving, strong, nurturing, caring, delightful, generous, adventurous, creative soul who lit up wherever she was with her beaming smile and left one feeling uplifted and lighter and loved; I will deeply miss her physical presence. A one in a million, I feel profoundly blessed to be able to carry beautiful memories and a deep love for her in my heart. May the love and light that she leaves us with carry us all and lighten our hearts as we honor her. Mary is spelled with four letters. Love also is spelled with four letters.. One in the same to me. Picturing her in my mind's eye, or looking at her beautiful photo lifts my heart and will continue to do so. It is a gift I cherish. May your family feel the love that surrounds you and may it carry you through .
From my heart to yours, my deepest condolences

To the entire Byrne Family
Words can't express how sorry I am about losing Mom. I'll never forget the day that I spent with her alone at her beautiful lakeside home and at her favorite restaurant, The Irish Pub, in Denville.I made her laugh so hard that she was crying, talking about old times and joking and just talking about anything and everything. We talked for hours before and after dinner and it was truly one of the most joyous times in my life. Her home was like entering a fairytale house of the past--it was amazing, as she was. I loved her dearly, and am glad I stayed in touch with her and I will never forget her as I am sure so many people feel the same way..whoever met her. She hugged me so hard when I was leaving that I carry it with me and it made me feel a very special love.
Love

My sincere condolences to all of Mary’s family and friends. While it has been several years since I last saw Mary, I have often fondly recalled what a caring and giving person she was. Mary welcomed me into her home and her circle of friends and was always so supportive and encouraging. I know Mary’s beautiful spirit lives on and I’m sending my love and prayers to her family and all who have been touched by her life.

Dear Kathy, Sharon, Maureen and family,
I'm so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. I remember her as one of the most kind and loving people I've ever met, opening her home to everyone whether it be for a meal or just a place to hang out. "Ma Byrne" was a mother to so many of us when we were teenagers. For many of us, she was the one who provided love, trust and support when we couldn't find it anywhere else. She loved us and guided us unconditionally and without judgment. She let us in when we had nowhere to go, and fed us when we were hungry. She made the best cookies in the world and according to my ex-husband Ronny, the best turkey dinner ever! She gave us a safe place just to be ourselves and enjoy her family- our dear friends... Hanging out with you and others, playing games of badminton, volleyball, and billiards in the basement.
Ma Byrne had a big heart, eyes that danced when she laughed, and a great smile. Your mom will live on in the hearts of many including me and Ron who will never forget her. I pray that God will rest her soul and give you comfort in this difficult time of her passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
With sincerest and deepest condolences, and lots of love and great memories,
Colleen Howard

I am saddened to hear of the death of my very dear and really sweet friend, Mary Byrne. I met your Mom in the very early 1990's and loved her immediately. I know how much you three women and your families will miss her --- as I will --- and as all who loved her will. There are many of us. She, and all of her family, have been in my prayers daily -- and you all will remain there with love. Mary was, and is, a great gift to us all.
