Obituary of Ron Wald

Ronald John Wald, of Denville, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2019 at CareOne at Morris in Parsippany. He was 79 years young.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Irving Michael, Sr. and Margaret Wald, he was one of three boys. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. In 1971 he settled into Denville. An avid golf player, he was a dedicated member of Peace Pipe Country Club where he was Senior Champion in 2017 and had many lifelong friends. Ron was a humble, honest, and kind man who will remain in our hearts and memories.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Darla (Bobo) and brothers Irving Michael Wald, Jr. and Gary Wald; he leaves only joyful memories to his children, Stephanie Wald and Gregory Wald; his four grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; his faithful pups, Teddy & Toby; his nieces and nephews, Michael, Lois, John, Janine, Steven, Elizabeth “Beth”, and Jessica; and extended family, and friends.

Graveside Service will take place on Friday, July 12^th at 10 am at Locust Hill Cemetery, 168 North Sussex Street, Dover, NJ 07801. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Ron with his family.
