David and I have a few shared friends and Ron was one of them. Ron and David were golf buddies and that common love of the sport kept them happy both while on and off the course. My common bond with Ron was a love of reading. We enjoyed some of the same authors. I remember my surprise on the day he shared he was reading a Stephen King novel as King is one of my favorite authors. Ron shared some books with me and I with him and most recently introduced him to works by Baldacci. As I continue to read books of the genre we both enjoyed I will think of Ron and know that he too would have liked the read. We will miss our friend and hope that both individual and collective fond memories of Ron will bring comfort to friends and family in the days ahead.
