We were so very saddened to hear about George's passing. He always greeted us with a smile, a laugh, and a positive attitude. His artistry was second-to-none, a true flower genius. We will miss waving to him in the "back room" as he worked. Much love to the Johnson family from the Molee and Caivano Families.

There are no words to say how very sorry I am to just hear of Georges passing! He was such a gentleman always had a smile and wave when I got my flowers, he was a Master of floral arrangements and doing business with him was always a pleasure. Through the 20 plus years I had him do my flowers for every occasion they were just magnificent! He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. May He Rest in Peace with God!pGF5a

I remember George fondly from our days when my husband George and I owned Enlightenment Books in the Foodtown Shopping Center. "Larger than life" is a phrase I would use, a very generous and kind man. Heartfelt condolences to George's family, I can only imagine how much you miss him.

George lived directly across the street from my family and was always kind, charming and a gentleman. He, like my late father, was a small business owner in Denville, and his thoughtfulness and attention to detail made him a true pleasure to be around - whether in exchanging neighborly pleasantries or conducting business. On behalf of my mother, Phyllis, and my sisters, Jennifer and Debra, deepest condolences to Linda, Todd, Jody and the extended Johnson family.

George, your love of family, flowers and your community will be remembered. I knew every time I walked into the store or called to order flowers they would be perfect and bring joy to the recipients. You will be missed but your legacy will blossom in Denville and the hearts of your family and all those you touched.

How we all loved George. He was family. Kind. Considerate. The best neighbor ever. The person who could make my dad laugh out loud. We often spoke about him and how special he was to all of us. His letters to my stepmother after our Dad died were a bright spot in her sadness. To Linda, Todd and Jody, please know we mourn with you. Much love, Robin

To our dear and special friend George,
As Jim said ...our feelings for you are the same from the both of us.
Your friendship and concern for each of us was unsurmountable and we could always trust what the other said as being the truth.
Our teasing with each other was always done in good faith and knew the love behind it would always be!
We will miss you always and our conversations to solve the problems of the day, and will know that our Lord will keep you safe in his loving arms.
Our love forever,
Sue Carol and Jim
