Obituary of Edda Woelfel
Edda F. Woelfel., 78, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Thursday, April 20, 2017. A Celebration of Edda’s life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. Interment of Ashes will follow in the Denville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit beginning at 9:00 am that morning. Please share your memories at www.normandean.com
Edda was born in Passaic, New Jersey and had lived at Lake Arrowhead, in Denville, NJ from 1971 to 1990. In 1990, after both she and her husband, Ernest J, Woelfel, Jr, (pre deceased) retired, they moved to Cape May, New Jersey, a much loved vacation spot. After her husband passed, she moved into Brookdale Cape May Senior Living for many years, where she had numerous friends. She was a retired executive assistant for BASF Corporation.
Mrs. Woelfel is survived by her two sons: Anthony R. Vanchieri (Valerie) and Michael J. Vanchieri (Jeralyn) and her five grandchildren: Michael, Anna, Christian, Grace and Melina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Woelfel.
