Born in Carisolo, Italy to the late Guido and Mary, Bill was the oldest of five boys. In 1932 at the young age of eleven, he traveled by boat to America by himself. As a young man, he was drafted into the US Army, where he served this country during WWII. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to the Bronx and to his sweetheart Irene and the couple were married and started a family of their own, raising three sons. In 1951, they moved to Denville and Bill started his business Master Grinding Service. He ran a successful business for many years, retiring in 1986. At that time, he relocated to Pa., and later found his way back to NJ in 2003. He was a good golfer, had a hole in one and loved the game. He played cards daily and had a group of poker buddies. He was the Patriarch of this family and loved spending time with all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his wife Irene and his brothers Gus and Dino; he leaves happy memories to his sons Raymond (Patty), Thomas (Susan) and John (Renee); grandchildren Jennifer, Leigh Ann, Dana, Derek, Kristen and John; eight great grandchildren; brothers Nick (Cythina) and Remo (Erma), sister-in-law Connie; dear friends Ed Lucciola and Fay Werth and many more relatives, friends and caretakers.
