My deepest sympathy. Joan grew up with me, Arline Lind Ennis, and other Park Terrace 'kids'. I have fond memories of Joan and her family. I enjoyed many days in their home...playing dolls, paper dolls, Monopoly.....watching the first tv I ever saw. Their home was always open and her parents were always fun to be with. We played street games til it got too dark out. Our favorite was 'Hide & Seek'. For some reason, Claude & Joan were the last ones to come in! It was a long time ago....but I cherish those memories. May you cherish the many memories you have gathered over the years. God's blessings......

I have such great memories of Joan at the lake every year. She had the best sense of humor and laugh to match. We had such great times. I am profoundly sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman.

Joan was a lovely and caring person. She was a person many years ago when we first met that made me feel completely accepted and comfortable during some social parties. I always found her to be genuine and open traits which are often hard to find in people. I will miss her. I hope that the healing for her husband, children and family will be as soon as possible though knowing that the loss and journey are very difficult. Our condolences
