I live in the Denville area and wanted to share my condolances. The Bible's words from Isaiah 33:24 has been of great comfort to me as it promises a time when no one will ever again say the words "I am sick". May your family have comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Dear Maureen
Words cannot express how truly sorry I am for your loss. Doug was a "one-of-a-kind" and throughout his illness he demonstrated valor and humor beyond any expectations. Please accept my condolences and I hope that we continue to hear from you.
Also, extend my heartfelt thoughts and prayers to his children and family.
He will be missed

My sincere condolences to Doug's family and friends. I have fond memories of Doug from Madison High School. He had such a positive energy, even as a teen, and it sounds as though he continued to live life with that same spirit. God Bless, Laurie Erickson

My condolences. Aunt Sue, Chris, Scott - Doug and I only found each other again a couple of years ago, but we had fun reminiscing about visits to each others houses when we were kids - and my "God Cousins." Doug will be missed, but he's in good company with my parents and Uncle Lee.
