James Jr., Deniae and Margaret,
My dearest condolences to your family. I am one of the secretaries at St. Vincent Martyr School. Your sweet father visited the office at least once a month to say hello, get a hug from all of us and to occupy some of his day delivering religious cards to our Sister Ann Olive. He always had the pleasure of a lovely aide in his arms.
We were all very sad to hear the news and will miss his visits and all of the religious articles he would deliver to us.
We were so happy to be a part of his routine. He was a gentle, sweet soul who is now in a better place.
Our love and sympathy,
Bridget Mantone and staff at St. Vincent Martyr School

Jim was a wonderful man and will very much be missed. I used to go to Jim's house in Madison and help him with his computer. He was always trying to learn new things and keep moving with the times. Both He and Maria were always so welcoming and it was true joy to watch the two of them interact, they were so sweet together. I will always cherish the memories of the stories he used to share of his time both in the Merchant Marines and the Navy as well as his many fishing trips and his grandchildren. I hope it brings comfort to know that the two soul mates are reunited and rejoicing the in the arms of the lord. May God always bless Jim and Maria
