I went to St. Mary's School in Denville with Rick. I used to see him when I stayed at my Grandfathers house near where Rick lived as a kid.
I remember playing Civil War in the empty lot near his house with Freddy Sperry, Eric Helmick and others.

Rick was my best friend in high school -- I will always have great memories of him as both a fun and considerate/honorable person.
Although we lost touch after high school, I have though of him repeatedly over the years, and my brothers/sisters/parents have very warm memories as well.
His family, I'm certain, was blessed with a wonderful husband and father!

Rick, from the days that you were our paperboy, through teenage years, and later adulthood, you have always been dear to my heart. Never without a kind word and a smile, you brightened many days. You will be missed here on earth, but I know you will continue to guide our lives and brighten our days. May God keep you in His loving care! May He watch over your family and give them peace. I will always remember you!

Ricky, Leslie, Lindsay, Richard & Todd....
Our most deepest sympathy to Ricky's family. We grew up together, and our children grew up together. You always had a very overwhelming character that was instilled in most people that ever came in contact with you, as a sincere, caring, helpful and very loving person.
You listened to "Bub's" tales and always got a kick out of them...
God Bless you & your family, and all of Denville, will miss you tremondously.
After you huge battle, you deserve to rest in peace.
Our love to you and Leslie,
Debby, Rick, Bub, Jessy, Mandy and Rikki
