Obituary of Roberto Omar Bulleri
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Roberto Omar Bulleri. He left this world in his home on September 26, 2024, at the age of 50. Born in Argentina, Roberto was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend whose passion for life touched everyone around him.
Roberto met the love of his life, Maribel, on New Year's Eve in 2001, while working as an RF engineer for Lucent Technologies in Puerto Rico. They were married three years later. In 2005, their joy multiplied with the arrival of their son, Roberto Adrian. In 2006, they settled in Montville, New Jersey and built a beautiful life.
As a culinary enthusiast, Roberto delighted in preparing asados for family and friends, thus becoming a vital tradition over the summertime. Whether dining at a fine restaurant or exploring local eateries, Roberto's love for food was rivaled only by his love for his family.
Roberto valued the simple, yet profound moments spent around the dinner table surrounded by laughter and love. Roberto cherished bird hunting trips with his son and relished every moment spent in the company of loved ones.
After receiving his cancer diagnosis in 2019, Roberto embraced his last five years of life with a commitment to make the most of the time. As a family they embarked on adventures to fulfill his travel bucket list. They visited Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Canada, France, and returned to Argentina for memorable family reunions.
Roberto had a great scientific mind. His program management skills were second to none. He led highly complex and transformative telecom projects for T-Mobile and Verizon while working at Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung. Roberto was a remarkable and kind human being and his warm and caring personality left a lasting impression on his colleagues. Impossible to forget Roberto walking into the office with his Gaucho hat and a smile on his face.
His memory will now live on through his devoted wife of over 20 years, Maribel Bulleri; their cherished son, Roberto Adrian Bulleri; his uncle, Sergio Gryciuk and his wife Raquel; cousins Ariel, Tina, Soledad, Mariana, Marcos, Nacho, Cristian, Gabi, Monica, Giovanna; in-laws Radames and Margie Negron; brother-in-law Radames Negron Jr.; and close friends Ahmed and Gisele Abogendia, Claudia and James Kipp, Liana and Seth Bassin, Roger and Maria Fleitas, Enrique Ramos, Natascha and Carlos Restrepo, Farukh and Aisha Awais, Mark and Sam Farrow and so many others whose life he touched.
A celebration of Roberto's life will be held on Sunday, October 6th from 2-5 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, Inc., located at 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834. The family kindly requests any memorial donations be made to Goryeb Children's Hospital where his son is being treated for cancer.
