Bob and Maureen were snowbirds for many years in Ft. Myers, Florida, until his health prevented them from coming back. We loved having them in our Life Group and Bob always had “nuggets” to share in class from God’s word. We so enjoyed the times we were able to get together for lunch to get to know them better. Will always remember that smile of his. We grieve deeply for you Maureen and your family as he will be so missed. Praying the God of all comfort will sustain you through this time and look forward to that Day when you’ll be reunited. Much love, Debbie and Chuck

Sending lots of warm thoughts your way during this trying time. Jeanette from your mentions of your dad, Bob Hartman, sounds like there was a lot of love shared and he left a wonderful legacy. Sending healing prayers to you and your family.

I persuaded a degree in history after four years under Mr. Hartman in highschool (Parsippany Christian). He wouldn't let me be complacent turning in half-baked research. I am so grateful for his influence.

Oh, gosh, Maureen. No words can express the heaviness in my heart for you. I know that "my Robert" is running and full of joy in the presence of our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS! What a wonderful thing that is! If there is anything I can do or anything that you need, please call on me.
May the grace of our FATHER, GOD and HIS mercy cover you and your family. May the peace of THE HOLY SPIRIT give you the peace that passes all understanding.
Most of all, may JESUS wrap you tightly in HIS arms and hold you close to HIS bosom. I love you, my sweet sister!

I worked with Mr. Hartman at Abraham Clark High School. He was just a genuinely nice and funny person. I remember yelling "Hartman"! everytime I saw him like he was Norm from "Cheers".

I loved learning history from Mr. Hartman at Parsippany Christian School. He told stories that made the facts more memorable and he always taught from a Biblical perspective which is so critical! 40 years later I can still hear him teaching us about Roman dominance at the time that Jesus was born. “In the fullness of time” was a favorite phrase of his that we had to write an essay about. See how impactful it was to me? I remember it so well. We knew that he loved us kids but he didn’t put up with any nonsense either. He was one of my all time favorite teachers. And then I became a teacher. I am so grateful for his influence on me and I am so sorry Hartman family. What wonderful Peace and Hope to know we will all be reunited!

Bob has been our dear friend and neighbor for almost 20 years. During that time we could always count on each other whenever either of us needed some help around the house. We also enjoyed occasionally going out to lunch or dinner with Bob and Maureen.
We would often bump into each other in the hallways or lobby and talk about whatever was on our minds. He will be greatly missed!
