Our family has wonderful memories of the times we all shared when we were very young. This memory will forever remain in our hearts.
We pray for her eternal peace as she rests in our Lord’s home & we all meet once again. We also pray for you, her family. We pray for the support & understanding you all deserve. I know she will be watching over each of you & her love, guidance & comfort will be with you in many ways.
May the Lord watch over and guide you during this difficult time of adjustment.
All my love,
Donna (Williams)Matlaga

My mother reached out to Sue Betz when she lost her first born. His name was Michael. My mother had lost her oldest son who was also named Michael. Through the years they became great friends and my sister and I had opportunities to babysit her kids Kathy and Danny. This was before Casey was born. Through many decades, Sue Betz and her family became our family. I always loved it when Sue came to visit or we went to lunch. I loved going to her home to see her projects and how she fashioned her home. It was always so inviting, so warm, so loving, and so magical.
The love and friendship my mom and her had can be best described in the following scripture.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
She will be missed, but never forgotten.

So sorry to read this. Sue and Charlie were always so much fun. Great neighbors. I have more than one recipe from Sue as she was a great cook. May her memory be a blessing. Sincere condolences.

Momma Betz was one of a kind. A classy, elegant, funny, wonderful woman that absolutely did make you feel like a better person after being in her company. I always loved when she would say to me "Thank you for being such a good friend to my daughter", and I would respond "Thank YOU for giving me your daughter to be a friend with!" and she would laugh. Heaven's doors slammed shut after they received the most wonderful angel. She has certainly left her mark on all that were lucky enough to be in her presence. I know she will continue to watch over her flock!

To my dear Betz family,
Sue was one of the kindest, most talented and special women I have ever been blessed to know. I will forever carry her in my heart. She was so beautiful and had the best laugh. My memories of our family visits are so treasured. I love you all.
