I'm so sorry to hear of Lennie's passing. He did amazing things with the book barn. It's a favorite place of mine for books, and odds and ends. I will miss seeing him there. My deepest sympathy to his family, friends and co-workers. He touched many lives with his work. We appreciate all of his help over the years.

I am so, so, sorry to learn that Lennie is not with us any more. He was a wonderful man, kind and gracious, with a smile for everyone who stopped by at the Book Barn. The place won't be the same without him and I will miss him - deeply. His wry sense of humor (but never cynical) and his patience with people stood out. The back-and-forth between him and the other (equally devoted) volunteers at the Barn was something else and their banter made the Barn special to me. The world is poorer today without him. May his soul rest in peace and find everlasting comfort in God's hands. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

So sorry to read of Lennie's passing he did a great job at the Book Barn I think it should be named Lennie's Book Barn for the future to honor all his wonderful work and fundraising for Denville rest easy Lennie

What I remember about Lenny was he was a very kind and helpful man. His favorite holiday was halloween. And through the years he had some great costumes. We enjoyed playing cards and just hanging out with him. He was predeceased by his long-time furry friend Remy who he loved very much. We were so happy to be a part of Lenny's life . RIP Keith and Gail Serfass

I must say I liked you from the very first time we met. This man with such a hoarse voice offered to sing with us girls, when nobody else would. Always looked forward to seeing you, always with a smile & always with a kiss or two.We all had a good time, last time I seen you, and I’m glad you said the heck with it and enjoyed a piece of cheesecake that you weren’t suppose to eat.Was honored to know you. Breath free my friend, you will always be remembered… Matt & Lisa
