Obituary of Marilyn Zagorski
Marilyn Zagorski, 65, of Parsippany, NJ passed away surrounded by family at Morristown Medical Center on August 26, 2022.
Born to Donald and Eleanor Laansma of the Glacier Hills section of Parsippany, Marilyn graduated from Parsippany Hills High School, earned an Associates Degree from County College of Morris, and worked as a medical office manager for many years with Dr. Nejat in Mountain Lakes.
Marilyn was married to her high school sweetheart, Glenn Zagorski, of nearly 43 years. She lived to be a mother, spending much of her time with their four boys and grandchildren, attending football, soccer, baseball, basketball, wrestling, and track activities. She was a sports fanatic, she loved watching football (especially the NY Giants) on Sundays with her dear friend Phyllis.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn Zagorski, her loving sons, Joshua and his wife Jennifer Zagorski of Berlin, NJ, Kyle Zagorski of Parsippany, NJ, Jeremy and his wife Mandy Zagorski of Lexington, KY, and Scott Zagorski and his girlfriend Alicia Hesse of Parsippany, NJ. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Luke, Ben, Lily, and Gavin as well as her sisters Eileen, Donna, and Laurie.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday September 1, 2022, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. A funeral service followed by shared memories will be held at 7:30PM on Thursday September 1,2022.
