My condolences to the Leahy family, I’m having trouble finding words to expressing how I feel hearing of Paul’s passing, I knew Paul all off sixty plus year, we first met in Newark, probably at a social event we became friends, Paul eventually roomed with our family for a period of time, my family were relatively new emigrant to America, with my parents Mom and Dad, were taken by Paul's easygoing demeanor.
Around this time Paul met the love of his life the very lovely Valery, the seemed made for each other (love at first site) Valery, had a friend Patsy, the four of us went prowling on a few occasions. Soon Paul and Valery were engaged, I was fortunate to be in their wedding. When Paul and Valery celebrated their twentyish fifth university, my wife and were invited to share in their happiness, I will always remember them as a couple who were meant for each other, and now they are together again, sharing an eternal life together.
We stayed Intouch over the years, and when my wife and I were back in town I we always stopped to visit, where we were extended a warm welcome.
My thoughts and prayers for Paul and “Val” will forever be in our prayers.
Liam and Judy McGinley.
