To the Godfather of out 3rd child Kyle and one of our dearest friends. You were an amazing person. We can only thank you for the great 30 plus years we have known you. The talent that you bestowed, from the 5 star cooking to the man that could fix anything, to the great hunter, to the go to person that could give an answer to any question or problem one might have; you were always there to give a lending ear and / or a lending hand when needed. You will be greatly missed our great friend. Thank you for instilling ever lasting respect and kindness to our family. Never heard a complaint from you after everything you went through. You will be remembered through your great, contagious smile. You were family to us. Rest in peace my brother until we meet one day again.
With love, The Pennino clan.... Tom, Deirdre, Austin, Ian, Kyle and Sarah.

A few words about my dear cousin Carmine:
We were close right from our childhood, and the relationship carried on throughout our lives. There was nothing that would come between us; we were always there for each other.
We shared many mutual interests: riding quads, target practice, camping, family traditions, and of course, food.
Carmine was a very strong and intelligent man with the gift of figuring out how to do things, whether it was mechanical, cooking or carpentry. He started his own art framing business, always glad to help others, and held strong family values.
He was immediately liked by my friends when he would join our yearly weekend ATV camping trips. I fondly remember his homemade sausage he cooked for us and his entertaining antics.
Carmine always had a lot of pride, right up to the final weeks of his life. He would tell me, “I’m ok”, when I could see he was hurting. When I would visit him in rehab, I would ask him what do you want me to bring for lunch? The answer was always fried eggplant, no sauce, just some parmigiana cheese on top. We would have lunch together and talk about our childhood family memories. I would even bring my clippers and give him a haircut when he needed one. When his pinky tip was recently amputated, he said, “Jim, at least it wasn’t my trigger finger."
I will never forget you Carmine, my cousin, and a true friend.
With love,
Jim

My heart is breaking for you, Judy. You have been Carmine's steadfast lifeline; with your skills of strong advocacy, dedicated caregiving, continuous navigation, always making sure he was in the hands of the best professionals. Although Carmine endured the unremitting health complications physically, you have selflessly been by his side, putting his needs, before your own. The vast years of strength, required to handle, the roller-coaster of endless medical complications, affected both of you equally. He is at peace now. I pray you are comforted, knowing the measures you took, to give him the best quality of life, ultimately extended his quantity of life. I know you will be rewarded, for your selflessness and years of sacrifice.
My array of memories, overflows, from his enjoyment of entertaining friends and family, from the fire pit he built, or an afternoon of sun and fun, on your boat. For me, one of his legacies will be , not only his interest and enjoyment of cooking, but his skills at serving his gastronomic creations.
May Carmine Rest in Peace.
