Each day is a gift and the love and compassion that LeRoy showed to family and friends was truly in celebration of each day. We looked forward to his sense of humor and smile. His dedication to the Legion and hard work made that post a refuge for veterans, a warm place for friends and family and shining example of what humanity can be. He will be sorely missed, Rest In Peace my friend. Roy and Leah Huchel

Mr Mitchell was a great man, father, husband and a friend. From playing spades to just hanging out shooting the breeze over my lifelong friendship with his son was truly special to me. May God rest your soul and Godspeed to all who were affected by his passing.

Condolences to Sur and the Family on the passing of LeRoy. May he Rest in Pesce. He will certainly be missed by all at AL Post 390. If it wasn’t for Lee there would be no outdoor Pavillion. He was the driving force behind getting it built. Dan and Sharon Daly.

Leroy was a true friend and an asset to the Legion family. Dan and I truly enjoyed working with Leroy in the kitchen. He was a Great cook. We are very lucky to have met such a wonderful man. We know he will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Dan and Judie Edwards
