We are so sorry to learn of Jack's passing. To find this out after the fact in and how he suffered in no way surprises me as he was always in total control and to read how he handled his disease with such dignity and class is definitely the same Jack Harrigan I remember growing up. May God bless and protect your family. Please accept our sincere condolences. Rest in peace.

Dear sister Carol and brother-in-law Jack— Remembering fondly our trip to South Africa (real elephants; railroad tracks!) long ago Belgium (elephant beer!) and Jack trying to teach me to juggle (a lost cause).
Such a mixed time of deep sadness for those Jack has left behind and relief that he is finally free of many years of suffering! Love you all… Mary and Jim

You will be sorely missed Jack. Our hearts are broken. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband to our sister Carol, father to Liam and Patrick, grandpa to Kayden, and brother to us. The years have passed so quickly, but it seems like only yesterday when we met during our college years. We had so much fun together in the last 43 years. We will treasure those memories forever and hope to find comfort in them. You fought a devastating illness with such bravery and courage. Our admiration for you and Carol has grown exponentially as we watched you face the difficult challenges of this life. We love you, Helene & Terry Fenlon

Uncle Jack,
You were a big part of so many of our shared magical memories of Christmas and summer celebrations at Grandma and Grandpa's cabin. You were a wonderfully fun Uncle who teased us and was always up for a game, especially playing "Santa's Trap Door." We will miss you. We love you.

I have sooo many memories of Jack…the one that makes me chuckle most is the one where he was sitting in my screened in porch, a neighborhood party,..enjoying himself…THEN…the drive-by… with laser eyes…
He was the first to see Liam and Alex driving that Bowden van around Small Brook Circle…he stood up like the lion that he was and wanted to squash what he was witnessing…those boys were under age driving….To this day, my memory of Jack still cracks me up.
