Dick was a great volunteer - I remember seeing him at many VFW affairs and the original Harvest Festival. He always had a kind word and upbeat attitude. I'll miss his smile.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dick and Helen at the Denville Community Church. Dick was ushering at the 11 a.m. service with Fred Varker and when Fred started having stamina problems I volunteered to do the ushering with Dick. He never had to identify himself when my husband answered the phone, in fact I can hear his voice now. Kind, thoughtful and funny, and when he got something mixed up Helen would always say to me, "that's Dick!" Rest in peace friend. Annise MacKinnon

"Aunt Helen & Uncle Dick" were not only like family they were family. Like some families as we grow older, we tend to grow apart. Our family dynamic was no different. Although we were not blood relatives we were more like family than most. We remember and cherish those childhood memories more than anything. And this is no exception. We’ve known the Angus family since 1969. Dick was a great neighbor. He was always outside doing something around the house. My sincere condolences to the Angus family. May he Rest In Peace!

I am sorry to read of Dick’s passing. I was a neighbor of Dick’s for about 20 years, we had several conversations over the fence,I always enjoyed talking to Dick.
