Bob was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Over the years we certainly enjoyed many fun times! His quick wit was always enjoyed by all. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Although I didn’t know Bob well, my husband and I were fortunate to be seated next to him at a wedding. His warmth put us at ease immediately and made us feel comfortable in a setting where we didn’t know too many of the guests. I will never forget that. Rest in peace Bob, all who enjoyed your kindness will be missing you. Praying for you, Janet and family.

We have lost a great friend of many years. One of our favorite memory of Bob was when we went tubing down the Delaware with our families. I can still see him in that tube with with his arms and legs up smiling from ear to ear. Over the years the families did so much together with Bob leading all the laughs! He was a great man and will be dearly missed by all who know him. Rest in peace dear friend.

Bobby and I grew up in Kearny.Bob's dad coached our sandlot football team-Kearny Esso. at Veteran's field .In high school,I remember Bob's key block that sprung Mike Landy on a game-winning 85 yard kickoff return versus Nutley. It was Kearny's first win over Nutley in 12 years. We both went to Rutgers and were fraternity brothers and had many laughs and beers .Bob left RU to guide his family and do it successfully.God bless Janet and family--condolences for your loss.

Bob’s father and mine worked together on the Kearny fire department, and we were Sea Scouts together then firefighters together but I will always remember Bob for his contagious laughter. In the high school talent show he stood in front of the entire school and started laughing which made the entire audience erupt in laughter
What a guy

My first meeting with Bob was at Black Bear Golf Club. It was a week after I got back from Myrtle Beach. As I put my shoes on at my car, Bob came over and introduced himself. At that point he noticed I had 6 dozen golf balls in my trunk. Bob asked about them and I told him it was a gift from all the courses I played in MB. That day, Bob proceeded to lose 1 golf ball on every hole we played, so I gave him 3 dozen balls. Laughing I said, you need them more then I do.
I miss you buddy, thanks for all the laughs and great memories.

Bob was a pleasure to know! He was a wonderful bonus to my longtime friendship with Janet. Being in his presence was always a fun experience. Our class reunions were a riot with him as the MC! He will truly be missed. Till we meet again!! Deborah Martone
