ANN CUOZZO 4-11-21 - email
April 11, 2021
Dear Ann,
Thank you for your phone call this morning. I was so sad to learn that Bob had passed away. As you know, Bob and I were good friends starting back in 1954 in our Marine Corps days as young officers at Quantico, VA and later at Camp Pendleton, CA. We never lost contact over these many years.
Bob was a great American, and the world is a better place because of him. Please accept my condolences to you and your family. He will be missed by so many.
Warm regards and Semper Fi,
Jim DeLoach

Bob has played a big and positive role in the lives of Leo Hokke Sr and Jr. During my stay in Bob's house in 1988, Bob introduced me to his life and business and he took me to a bank luncheon somewhere in Delaware. (I think it was Midlantic Bank) Being only 28 at the time, Bob gave me a shock by standing up and telling the people he brought a special guest from Holland who wanted to say a few words ..... I was hearing my heart in my throat and saw Bob smiling under his hat, a cigar hanging out of his mouth .... Bob was a real friend, smart and full of humor. May our lord shine his light upon him forever.
