My heart is with my Grandpa and the rest of our family this week (and always). I'm very saddened by Grammy's passing and wish I could be there to hug everyone. My memories have been drifting to the many RV trips we took when I was young, especially the Halloween trips where we would help Grammy decorate the campsite and go trick or treating in the RV park. Grammy was such a trooper the year Grandpa dressed up as an old woman. She still held his hand while we trick or treated and I think that says a lot. I also have been thinking about all the plays Grandpa and Grammy took me to at the Papermill Playhouse. We would go out to dinner, go see a play and then I would sleep over their house. Between all the camping trips, cruises, cabin weekends and family parties, I have enough memories of my Grammy to cherish forever.

I am so deeply saddened to learn about Kathy’s passing. We worked together for almost 20 years at GPUN, and she always inspired me to be a better person in and out of the office. She was an incredible mother, a diligent worker, and an indescribable happy person! We had so many laughs and great times at Christmas parties, company picnics, and many other company events.
Most importantly, I always admired her love and devotion to her kids and to Pat. She was an amazing woman, and I feel blessed to have called her my friend. My condolences to you all, and May she rest in God’s eternal peace and glory.
Godspeed Kath. Michele McCue Shaffer
