Just learn of this sad news. I had the pleasure of getting to know Ken when we coached soccer at the Randolph Re. Dept. Ken was a great coach. I would talk to him about coaching techniques which I used with my teams. Alway upbeat and with a smile it truly was a honor to know him. My deepest condolences.

So many titles. Son, father, husband, brother, coach, mentor, friend, confident, babysitter, athlete, leader, teammate, cousin, comedian, playmate, musician, world traveler, outdoorsman, role model.
That was my Uncle Kenny.
Kenneth William Walsh
So many defining characteristics. Honest, compassionate, courageous, unselfish, loyal, hard-working, independent, proud, responsible, dedicated, considerate, confident, humble, faithful, thoughtful, funny, talented, sweet, genuine, empathetic. I could go on for days.
That was my Uncle Kenny.
Kenneth William Walsh
A man of the upmost moral character. A man with a boundless love of faith and family. A man who treated everyone he’s ever met like family and every child like his own. A man who didn’t know how to let you walk away without a smile. A man who was the biggest personality in the room and always in a good way. A man who never let an opportunity pass to help, to teach or to learn. A man who is likely one of the smartest you’ll ever have met without ever making you feel like less. A man who raised every bar he ever came across.
That was my Uncle Kenny.
Kenneth William Walsh
The man who treated me like a daughter. The man who could turn your day around with a joke or a song. The man who reminded you that anything is possible and you are your only hurdle. The man who taught more lessons just by being who he was. The man who’s passion for life lead through a whimsical wonder was captivating to witness. The man who made you feel like you could take on the world and win. The man who did it all with a smile. Always.
That was my Uncle Kenny.
Kenneth William Walsh
The one that I and so very many loved. The one that I and so very many will miss. The one that I and so very many will never forget.
The one that I and so very many are truly blessed to have had in our lives.
The one that could never be replaced.
The one that could never be forgotten.
That was my Uncle Kenny.

How do you say goodbye to your last brother? I am in shock and completely heartbroken. Kenny was the epitome of a wonderful human being. He was kind, caring, thoughtful and loving. There is such a tremendous hole in my world with him gone. Kenny was always my number one fan and I was his. From a young age, he always made time for me, to teach me, play with me and just love me. I am a very lucky girl to have such a wonderful big brother. An outstanding example of how you should treat people and live your life. My heart breaks for all of us, his wife, his children, his sisters, but especially my father. Who is now having to bury child number five. The Walsh family thanks you all for your kind words about Kenny, your stories, and your prayers. Rest in Peace Kenny. Enjoy the soccer field in Heaven.

We first met the Walsh family when all of our kids were young. Our daughter Jaclyn was a Brownie and Melanie was in our troop. I was a co-leader. I was not an experienced camper and the girls wanted to “ camp out”, so we used the big screened in porch that we had and we all slept “outside”. Ken joined us with his guitar and sang for us. He ended the evening singing soft lullaby’s to help settle those 6-7 year old girls down. I believe that we have a video of that somewhere! He always had a big smile and was ready to lend a helping hand. He is now in God’s embrace. Our deepest condolences and wishes for all of his family to find peace. Cindy and Wayne Petermann

My condolences to the entire Walsh family. I have many fond memories watching Ken play soccer when I was young. It was nice to talk soccer with him as I grew up and shared that same passion for the game. I remember Ken as a dedicated, fun, and awesome person. May God hold you all in the palm of His hand.
Love,
Liz Williams (Kelly)
