I remember roaming around the Oranges when we were just skinny little punks. 13 or 14. I lost touch with you when I moved to south Jersey, but thought of you once in a while. I'm sorry we never reconnected. You'll always be one of the funniest people I've ever met.

Jimmy, our hearts are broken. You were the kindest person, especially to Spank and Annie. Your presence at the Legion was bigger than life, and you will be missed. Rest easy kind sir, and May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Peace, Steve & Michele Shaffer

My friend and brother Legion member Jim I met many years ago at the American Legion Post 390. As time went by Jimmy the “K” as he was called became one of the bartenders at the Post. Jimmy and I talked about our lives growing up in Essex County, he in West Orange and I in Newark. Jimmy was a great guy we will miss him greatly and I know the Ladies of the Legion especially the Friday night crew will miss his attention to them. Till we meet again Jim.
