Joan,
Whether you knew it or not both you and Jim quickly became “YMCA favorites” to so many members and staff. So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I consider it an honor that I got to know you both and so enjoyed our conversation in the lobby booths and certainly Jim’s daily hallway jokes. When I heard the news I immediately thought of the many times I would watch Jim train with Mina - his commitment to health and his hard workout ethic was such an inspiration. He is one of those people that certainly left the world a little better than he found it. We only have fond memories.

Joan, I am so sorry to hear of your husband's death. I had planned to get to the wake and/or funeral but I have developed and cold and just got tested for COVID. I am negative but still not feeling well and don't want to expose anyone to whatever I have.
I have such fond memories and both of you and Denville Little League. Sending much love and lots of distance hugs.
Both of my boys send the same.
Joan

I had the privilege of working closely with Jim at Cenlar until I retired. Jim was always upbeat and friendly and a pleasure to know and work with. His presence in the office made the workplace a pleasant and happy place for everyone. We all will miss Jim for the kind and caring person he always was. My condolences to Joan and Mark who he spoke of lovingly and who we all became to know through Jim.

What a beautiful tribute to Jim . I had the pleasure of working with him at Cenlar and I loved his stories as much as he enjoyed telling them. He was a true gentleman. My thoughts go out to Joan who he spoke of so fondly and his son he spoke of with pride,
