I just learned of Dick's passing. He was such a terrific person and truly the nicest person that I met during my 38 years at the Port Authority. I worked with him during the early 1970's during the construction of the World Trade Center and learned so much from him during those five years. He was a real gentleman and I am the better for having known him and the lesser because I can not meet him again. RIP Sir Richard and I'm sure that "flights of angel sang you to your rest" with Mag.

Richard and Katherine were dear friends of ours. We shared many Anniversaries together on August 20th. We loved them dearly and I will miss all the stories and company. My Parents Frank and Frances introduced me to these wonderful people. I love them and your family. My deepest condolences. May god bless you all.

To the finest Irish gentleman I ever knew. He was a wonderful Catholic example of God's love. Many a night we spent at the "clinic" caring for Our Lord's people. Wonderful memories of he and "his love" at rosary. May you rest in peace!

To all the Twiss Family... Jeanne and I send our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy upon the loss of Richard. He and Magdalen were our dear friends since 1990. Dick was a wonderful Catholic, a patriot and a man dedicated to his family and friends. We shared many a Guinness, volunteering and of course his sea stories. Truly unforgettable, he is missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. "So long, Richard, 'twas good to know yee"
