Obituary of Patricia E. Smith

Patricia Smith (nee Dunn), 89, passed away on February 14th with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 19th at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, February 18th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the good work of Hospice of NJ. Born in NYC, Patricia lived in New Milford, NJ & NY, before moving to Franciscan Oaks, Denville in 2002. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years while raising her family. An avid card player, she made friends quickly playing pinnacle, and later learning bridge. Predeceased by her husband Martin and her brother Robert Dunn; she is survived by her daughters Barbara O'dea and Carol Villa and her husband Carmine; adored grandchildren Nicole, Michael, and Matthew Villa; sister in law Kay Dunn; and many more loving relatives, caretakers and friends.
