Obituary of Kenneth James Hafley

Kenneth James Hafley passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2015, at the age of 56.
Ken was an avid golfer, a dedicated Mets fan, and enjoyed watching football. He was a recreational Coach for his children growing up, proving his love and devotion to his friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with his family at Cape Cod, Myrtle Beach, and Cape May. He was the life of the party wherever he went. He was a cherished man and friend to so many people and has left a legacy of love and laughter for all who had the pleasure of having him in their life.
Left to mourn his loss is his beloved wife of 30 years, Mary (nee Cavanaugh); his adored children Lauren and Michael; his devoted parents Joseph and Patricia; his treasured brothers Mark and Raymond; his precious father-in-law Jack Cavanaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia R.C. Church, 70 Church Street, Rockaway. Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, on Tuesday, February 10th from 4 – 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer you to make a donation in Ken's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or to your favorite charity.
