Morristown Daily Record Obituary for (Sunday February 15, 2015)
Patricia Ann Van Duyne, 59, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Dover, N.J. following a long illness.
She was born in Painesville, OH and lived in Denville before moving to Hopatcong in 2006.
Pat had worked as an Administrative assistant at several companies in New Jersey. Her passion was plants, flowers, and all animals. Especially her daughter’s childhood cats Junkyard and Hairball and her cats Eddie and Gozer. She loved photographing all the seasons. She was very creative and talented and could fix almost anything.
She is survived by her companion Thomas Bartkowiak as well as her daughters Crystal Van Duyne Malec of Lake Hopatcong and Jessica Van Duyne Spiteri of Denville and her three grandchildren Brandi Allen, Damian Malec and Chris Spiteri. They all loved Pat and will miss her.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00am at Saint Mary’s RC Church in Denville, N.J.
Arrangements are being handled by Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville, NJ.
