Obituary of James Patrick Rossolillo

James Patrick Rossolillo, 75, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. He was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. James graduated from NYU College of Music with a Bachelors Degree. Upon graduation, he started his teaching career in the North Haledon School District, taught at Rivervale, ultimately retiring from Jersey City. He was an accomplished accordianist, pianist, entertainer, and directed numerous community and school productions. Son of the late Patrick and Helen Rossolillo, James is survived by his loving partner Pearl Traub Johnson; his dear children, son Adrian Rossolillo and his wife Jennifer, and daughters, the late Maria, and Gabriela Schembri and her husband Juan; his cherished grandson, Nicholas; his adored sister Laraine Corvo and her husband Joseph; his devoted nieces, Lisa Giuriceo, Laura Meekings, and Leslie Long; and many other caring extended family members. Funeral Services will begin on Monday, January 19th at 10:30 at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, with a Prayer Service to begin at 11:00. Cremation is private.
