Helen E. Wojcik, of Denville, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was 87 years young.

Born and raised in Elmira, NY to the late Vincent and Julia Novick, she was the youngest of three children. She graduated from Elmira Free Academy High School Class of 1950. Helen married the love of her life, William Wojcik in September of 1951. Together they settled in Syracuse, NY to raise their five children. In 1967, the Wojcik family found their forever home in Denville, NJ.

Helen was an avid collector; her main passion was holiday decorations, but she also loved her doll collection. She was also a talented gardener and photographer. Above anything else, her grandchildren came first in her life. She always supported them and their endeavors, cherished spending quality time with them for sleepovers, and made sure to attend all of their extracurricular activities. Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she in now reunited with her parents, her brother Robert, her sister Eleanor, and her beloved husband of 55 years, William Wojcik.

Her legacy of unconditional love and dedication will continue on in the hearts of her loving children, Martin Wojcik and his wife Carolyn of Randolph, Paul Wojcik and his wife Lydia of Kearny, Stephen Wojcik and Joanne of Andover, Tom Wojcik and his wife Cindy of Denville, and Annette Conciatori and her husband Robert of Netcong; her treasured grandchildren, Stephanie Stachow and her husband Adam, Christopher Wojcik and his wife Amanda, Melissa McQueeney and her husband Sean, Kevin Wojcik and his wife Lauren, Matthew and Brian Wojcik, and Joseph and Nicole Conciatori; her adored great-grandson, Desmond Wojcik; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
