Obituary of Paul J. Kamage
Paul J. Kamage, of Denville, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. He was 75 years young.
Born and raised in Queens, NY to the late Anthony and Sophie Kamage, he was one of two children to bless the Kamage household. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from New York City College of Technology. After graduating from college, he began his 40+ year career in Engineering and Sales, retiring at age 66, as a Salesman and the General Manager for Brodie System Incorporated in Linden. Paul was very proud of his Lithuanian heritage and loved to travel. Above anything else, his family was his first priority in his life. He was an amazing, hilarious, smart and dedicated husband, companion, father, brother, and friend that will be sorely missed.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa in 2005, he leaves a legacy of unconditional love and laughter to his adored children, Alison Kamage, Jared Kamage, Blair Kamage, and Leigh Rasmussen and her husband John; his loving sister, Lorraine Findlay and her husband Randy; his faithful companion of 12 years, Susan Meriwether; his cherished furry grandbabies, Lucy and Shayla; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 10th at 10:30 am at Resurrection Parish, 651 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Paul with his family.
