Joe was a friend, a good friend. We met at a council meeting where I was talking about one of our programs, Vets Summer Fest. When he heard it was for Homeless Veterans he jumped on board right away and served as stage hand at the festivals for several years. He was a bright light in the lives of all the are associated with the Vets Summer Fest and the Knights of Columbus...he will be sorely missed by all.

You will be missed Joe. I remember seeing you at mass every morning, always with a smile on your face and the light of Jesus in those beautiful eyes. You and Claudia were one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever known. Rest in Peace

Joe Dungan was as genuine as you can ever find in a friend. I've known him for about than 30 years. I skated with he and Claudia most Saturdays, and they had wonderful things to says to people that they encountered everyday. When Joe called me "brother", he meant it. I was raised to believe that GOD IS LOVE, and LOVE never dies. The LOVE that Joe gave to us all LIVES ON!

You are the best dad a girl could ever wish for. Thank you for always making me laugh and smile when I needed it. Thank you for being a great dancer! I remember standing on your feet and waltzing around the living room. I will see you someday in heaven.

Dearest Maggie, I know you may not remember me. I was the receptionist at Sound Associates at 424 West 45th Street in NY. Worked with your dad for many-many years. I'm just finding out he passed and it hurts because he passed and because I never knew.. I'm sorry I couldnt be with you, Joey and especially Claudia. But what I always will remember, he truly loved his Maggie! Sincere heart, Cheryl
