Chris and Kellie, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of David. I remember your wedding and when Kellie was born. You all made me feel welcome when we moved to VA. Many memories of vacations in Ocean City and Myrtle Beach and playing tennis, Chinese take out and Fuddruckers. Missed you when you moved away to NJ. I treasured when you came to the house when Megan was born. David will be missed so much. Prayers to you and your family. Love, Arlene

How very very sad and tragic. David was an amazing person. We had lost touch through the years, but have fond memories of tennis and basketball games, all you can eat seafood and the beach. My heart goes out to Chris, Kelly and all his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many.

Dear Family of David Faircloth:
I am so very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a friend in high school (Surrattsville class of 1971) and quite well-liked by all. I remember him as being tall, lanky, and funny, and I believe we shared some drama productions together. I have been on the committee to track down classmates and invite them to the reunions and I am sorry that Dave did not attend, it would have been nice to see him again. I really liked the published obituary and the message from his brother, it validates that Dave retained his nice guy personality his entire adult life. My sincere condolences to you all at this very difficult time.

Dave was my friend. When I moved to Clinton, MD as a 9th grader, I found this fun loving 8th grader that lived just up the street that loved to play basketball. That was Dave. We spent MANY hours playing basketball in his driveway. And we spent many hours at each other's house. With Dave on the drums and me on the guitar, we formed a band and played for hours and hours in my basement. We weren't good but we were loud and had fun.
I met most of my friends through Dave. He always seemed to know everyone. He introduced me to the gang that sat on the driveway wall at the Binge's house. He was with my high school sweetheart and me the night before we decided to run off and marry. I was in my third year of college at the time. And he organized a gathering of friends to celebrate when we returned.
Over the years, I lost contact with Dave. But I thought of him often. I happen to be visiting the Washington, DC area right now. I think its time to drive past our houses and make the one mile trip to the other end of the neighborhood past the Binge driveway wall again. We used to either run it or ride bicycles. This time it will be in a car but the memories will be the same. And there are so many other memories that I could fill a book.
To Dave's family and his other friends, I'm very sorry for your loss. He will be both missed and remembered by all.

I was friends with David from the 8th grade until we graduated. We spent a lot of time at each other's houses experimenting with electronics. I remember his brother Richard and his parents, very good people. I can tell you another thing about David - he absolutely loved The Monkees! Rest in peace, old friend. I pray for healing and comfort for the family too, wish I could have met you all but I left the DC area after high school.

Dear Faircloth family,
I am stunned and so sad that Dave has left his earth life. I was a classmate at Surrattsville HS. We shared music, theater and many moments of joy!
He was wise, funny, gentle and one of the kindest men I have ever known. I have a picture from the musical in our Junior year, a dance rehearsal, where his tall, skinny self and my short clumsy self are attempting some choreography. I will hold his laughter in my heart.
May you find comfort in all your most treasured memories. Deborah

Dave was one of my dearest childhood friends and I remember him every time I drive through the old neighborhood. He easily convinced me that my old dolls had a useful purpose--they made great footballs and were easy to throw in damp weather. Our little gang spent every possible sunny day outside from morning to night riding bikes, playing football, climbing trees and sitting on the "Binge's" wall talking and laughing until nightfall. He even tried to teach me how to play "Wipe Out" on trash can lids to no avail.
I was so proud of him as we grew up. He was often my protector when someone was mean, yet he was always kind and made me laugh. He was a shoulder to cry on when my heart was broken and a good advisor as we all were trying to figure out what to do with our lives as we approached adulthood. To sum it all up, he was like a brother to me and I will miss him.
My condolences to his beloved wife, daughter and family. I know how much he loved you.
With Love--Geri Vieira Ford

It’s taken me a few days to accept the fact that we have a lost such a wonderful man. David was a true gentleman and one of the most helpful persons I’ve known and always so humble. Never too good to get his hands dirty and do the tasks nobody else wanted to do, all while being a great leader and mentor. I always thought of David when I needed advice on both, personal and professional matters. He was always willing to share his wisdom and experience with anyone willing (and fortunate enough) to listen to him share these with them. This, of course, always came with a story or two or three and sometimes the same ones over and over again; “I’ve probably already told you this one and stop me if I have...” but you couldn’t stop him and you couldn't help but listen to him intently as if it were the first time hearing him tell you of his experiences. One of his charms was his sharing of his life experiences, both personal and professional. You couldn’t help but just listen to him share with you his knowledge of just about everything and the memories that went with his attaining this knowledge. Something he was particularly fond of talking about and sharing memories of was his family. He always spoke fondly of his family and always with love and pride. As a father myself, he was someone I looked up to and admired for his being a great father figure to his daughter. DF, you will be greatly missed and you will always be remembered as one of the very best human beings everyone you encountered has had the pleasure to meet and someone we should all aspire to be like. Rest In Peace good sir.

There are no words to express how wonderful, intelligent, funny, big-hearted a man David was. He was bigger than life to me- Always there to discuss anything and everything with a lovely anecdote. He spoke to me often about his wife and daughter and son-in-law-especially how proud he was of them and their accomplishments.
I have a son Louis who accompanied me to a work/family wedding- He was totally engaged with my son- Even danced the Margarena with him at the wedding. I will miss his larger than life philosophies. He has enriched my life because of my work experience with him. I will miss him terribly but he will always be a vivid memory in my heart. It was quite a shock to believe that he has been taken so quickly. Please accept my extreme condolences for a man to be remembered always.

So sad that David is no longer with us.
I miss his smiling cheerful “Good morning” every morning as he walked through the office. He was cheerful no matter what he had to deal with every day.
I often asked him how he was able to stay so happy and calm but he just smiled and said it was his nature.
He adored his wife and his daughter and family.
He proudly used to tell me he was so blessed to have found his wife, Chris.
He was such a kind and helpful person. He will be so missed.

David was one of the most admirable and honorable people I have had the pleasure of meeting in my life. As a superior at the office he always made sure I felt like we were apart of the same team working towards the same goal. His support for myself and my family both professionally and personally will always stick with me - he cared so much, even for someone like myself whom he only knew for a few years. When my father passed away, David drove the extra 2 hours north after work to visit with us and share his condolences. It would have been surprising...except that it wasn't at all, based on the person he was and what it meant to him for people to know he was there for them. I will miss and respect him always, and my deepest condolences go out to his family - he was really something special and will never be forgotten.

David was taken from us way too early.
David was a unique man, and was always so proud to share his knowledge.
His family meant everything to him, Weather it was his wife', Christeen's birthday, anniversary or any other treasured moments, David would always make the time. We've heard so many story's about his daughter Kellie and how proud he was of his son in Law Brandon and always appreciated spending time with the family.
David also had only admirable things to say about his older brother Richard.
He surely made an impact on me and will be forever missed here at Poof Apparel and will be thought of often by all of us.

There are no words to Express the sorrow and void left in our lives with your passing. You were the epitome of husband, father, uncle and friend. We will always remember our beach trips,..Christmas in July, basketball with the boys and endless marathons of Jaws, Pulp Fiction and Atari...oh yeah and that one trip you kept refilling (when I wasn't looking) my cup with your famous Lynchburg lemonade that caused me to wake up next AM on the floor with carpet print on my face...hahaha..RIP brother..forever in our hearts..love, Leslie, Victor, Steen, Lil Vic and Leo
