Obituary of Breann Elizabeth Rizzi

Breann Elizabeth Rizzi, of Rockaway, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, June 20, 2019. She was 25 years young.

 

Born in Dover, she has been a lifelong Rockaway resident. Breann was a very active and dedicated worker. Starting in Grade School and continuing into High School, she played many sports including basketball, soccer, baseball, and cheerleading. She graduated from Morris Knolls High School and continued on to Beauty School. She was a very accomplished Hairdresser and Stylist, taking special interest in coloring hair and applying makeup. She had worked previously at Lorenzo Pasquale Hair Design and Pietrina's Hair & Nail Salon, both located in Rockaway. She also spent some time working for Paws Fur Beauty Mobile Pet Grooming with her Mom. She had a passion for taking care of animals. Breann was a true athlete and you would find her at Retro Fitness in Rockaway quite often. She also loved The Walking Dead and took many trips with her Mom to Senoia, Georgia to visit the set of the show. Breann was a talented artist and drew many pictures. She also loved her many tattoos, courtesy of her best friend Vanessa.

 

Breann was an amazing and trusting woman. She always put others before herself. We will always remember her beautiful smile, gorgeous soul, and caring personality. She was taken too soon from this earth but the impact that she has made on our lives will stay with us for an eternity.

 

She leaves only joyful memories to her adored Mom, Michelle Rizzi and her husband Gary Curtis; her cherished brother, Brendan Curtis; her loving grandparents, Elizabeth and Larry Rizzi; her caring Uncle, Dale (the late Ann) Johnson and Aunt, Kimberly Breheny and her husband Gene; her treasured cousins, the late Colin Breheny, Kyle and Kaitlin Breheny and Stephanie Bedotto and Andrew Johnson; her adored kitty cats, JuJu and Opal; and many more extended family and friends.

 

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25th at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, from 6 – 8 pm with Funeral Service beginning at 8 pm. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Breann with her family.
