Obituary of Norma Woodvine

Please share a memory of Norma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Norma Woodvine, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Denville, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at Solaris Assisted Living in Vero Beach, FL. She was 90 years young.

Born and raised in Jersey City to the late Francis and Margaret Vena, she was one of eight children. Norma was a very strong and independent woman. After graduating High School, she married and became an amazing Mom. Norma raised her three boys, while putting herself through school, with only the help of other family members. She received her Master’s Degree in Education and became an Educator in the Kinnelon Public School District for many years. She met the love of her life, George Woodvine in 1972. In 1999, they retired together to Florida and have resided there ever since. Norma was an adventurous woman and a world traveler.  She also loved to dance; line dancing, square dancing, she did it all. Above all, she was a phenomenal wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her legacy of laughter, unconditional love, and hard work will continue on in our hearts for an eternity.

She leaves only fond memories to her beloved husband of 47 years, George Woodvine; her adored sons, Bob Fisher, Bill Fisher and his wife Geri, and Jack Fisher; her cherished grandson, Lee Fisher and his wife Laura; her caring sister, Margie Cosmanic; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
