Rita, we are saddened by the loss of your husband, Bill. When we first met him. three years ago, it felt that we had always known him and was a life long friend. May God be with you in this trying time.

It is an honor to pay tribute to a great friend SGT Bill Plumley. Bill was so kind, so respectful, with such a good sense of humor. He was so good to my mom before she passed, always stopping by to cheer her up. He was always there for every one of us and never complained. Bill was the first friend I met at our FH building while both of us were at our mail boxes in our lobby. From that point on, we found out we loved so many of the same things: the Military (Bill the Air Force, me the Navy), movies, politics, Great Britain and world history. We never ran out of things to talk about, and Bill always peppered our talks with humor. Besides, he knew more about world history than I ever did and I always learned from him. Bill, thank you for being the best kind of friend to me for 17 years. I thank you for your service, of which you were so proud, and for all you did for all of us. Rest easy and well, my adopted brother. You are deeply loved and appreciated by so many. You will be sorely missed. Love, LT Barbara.

You will be missed, Bill. May you rest in peace forever.
