Obituary of Carolyn A. Carter

Carolyn A. Carter passed away at her home in Parsippany on February 26, 2019, at the age of 91. Born in Florida, NY, she had lived in Parsippany, NJ since 1955. In years gone by, Carolyn loved to play golf and travel with her husband Lee. More recently, Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends and her grand dog, Marc. She was predeceased by her first husband John Large in 1972 and her second husband Leroy L. Carter in 2003, and by her son Randy Large in 1996. Carolyn is survived by her sister Gloria Krajci of Franklin, NJ, her brother Richard Conklin of McAfee, NJ, children Leslie Large of Parsippany, NJ, Gary and his wife Tammy Large of Denville, NJ, and Kevin and his wife Laura Large of Succasunna, NJ. She is also survived by her Stepson Phil Carter and his wife Doris and Step Daughter Anne DeGraff and her husband Robert, both of Florida, and her 5 Grandchildren, Darren, Douglas, Breanne, Brandon and Stephanie, her 4 Step Grandchildren, Brian, Tim, Darryl and Nick, her 3 Great Grandchildren, Lily, Tyler and Madelynn, and her 2 step Great Grandchildren, Leighton and Finnlee. A memorial service will be held at the Parsippany Presbyterian Church 1675 US – 46, (Eastbound side) Parsippany, NJ 07054 at 10AM on Saturday, March 23, 2019. In lieu of flowers, Carolyn asked that donations be made in her memory to her beloved Parsippany Presbyterian Church online by way of inmemof.org, or mailed to the above address.
