Obituary of Jean Marie Birrell

Jean Marie (Golden) Birrell passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ on February 25, 2019, at the age of 89.
Born in Dupont, PA, she had lived in the Indian Lake section of Denville for many years before moving to Rockaway Township, NJ 17 years ago.
She earned her Bachelor's degree and then worked in corporate finance for Warner Lambert in Morris Plains, NJ for many years before retiring in 1992. She loved to travel and along with her husband travelled to all 50 States, most of Canada and 31 foreign countries.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Robert Gordon Birrell in 2017.
Jean is survived by her children Richard, Paul and Judy Burns, as well as her grandchildren Kate, Rob and Annie Burns and her brother Paul Golden.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 9, 2019, at 12:00PM at Union Hill Presbyterian Church 427 Franklin Road Denville, NJ 07834 under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
