Barbara Lee Greco born, June 21st 1968, passed away Tuesday February 19th 2019.
She shared her life and love with her family and friends who were her extended family for 50 years. Barbara lived her life her way, and her way was one amazing journey. She would always leave people happier than she found them. She had a heart of gold, she had tremendous kindness, compassion and empathy for all who crossed her path on her journey.
Her career took her many places, she worked and lived in Las Vegas NV for a short time. That is where she met Scott and they instantly knew they were meant for each other. Barbara, Scott and Bryce started their lives together 20 years ago in Rockaway.
Their son Bryce was their world. Barbara and Bryce were inseparable.
Recently, Bryce completed service for our country as a US Marine, Barbara enjoyed traveling to see him when he was stateside. She would stay with him and his fellow marines and cook amazing meals for them and listen to all their stories. She so loved all Bryce's friends, they became her extended family as well.
Barbara was so passionate about so many things, she especially loved fostering dogs. Until one crossed her path that she had to keep in her company, Scurvy was a senior rescue whom she cared for with such love be and compassion until his passing last year. She also loved helping out her friend Kim at her farm with her Alpacas and goats.
If you were lucky enough to be a friend to Barbara, you knew that you became part of her family, part of her heart. She had a way about her, her laugh was infectious, her way was humor, to always find something to laugh about to make you feel at ease, always. She was not only a mother to her son, the love of her life Bryce, but to all his friends as well. She was a sister to so many of her friends, those who knew Barbara loved her for all that she was and all that she did, although her time was far too short, she we always be in our hearts and walk beside us on our remaining journeys.
She leaves beautiful memories to the love of her life Scott Testa, her adored son Bryce Greco; loving parents Dawn and Sam Greco; her siblings Vicki DeLeo (Sal), Elizabeth DeGrenier (Jim), Christine Perillo (Dave), Julie Greco, Michael Greco (Andrea); brother in law Craig Testa (Sheri); nieces and nephews Randi and Lily DeLeo, Bill DeLeo, Tyler Perillo and Alex Perillo; her loyal canine Zeus and many devoted friends.
