Uncle Ronnie has been part of my family since I married his nephew Paul Roberts Jr. in 2002. This is a sad loss for our family and I will always remember the times that we spent together and our interesting conversations. I hope to share some memories with others who loved him when we honor him tomorrow. My deepest condolences to his wife, children, siblings, extended family, and friends who knew him much longer than I did. God Bless.

Ron was a wonderful friend to both of us. He was always smiling and joking around. When I lived in NJ, Theresa & Ron were 2 of my best friends. We spent so much time together - going to the movies, going to Tricky Trays, playing racquetball, etc. After I moved to Louisiana, Theresa & Ron visited us and we will always remember his stories and videos of their Mardi Gras fun. He will be missed. So sorry we cannot be there for Theresa at this time, but we are praying for her.

My uncle Ron was a great husband to my aunt Terri. He was a fantastic uncle to me as well. My memories of him were listening to oldies going to car shows with him and spending weekends and his house. He will be greatly missed

Ron was a good man and a great friend to me for almost 3 decades. I will miss him so much. We had a semi weekly card game and Ron always mentioned that he always wanted a card game but didn't imagine it would be with 2 broads (Terri and I). We agreed on nothing, but never fought. Any time i needed a hand with anything both Ron and Terri were right there. Terri mentioned a lot of things Ron loved in life but modesty prevented her from mentioning the thing he loved best. Ron loved his Terri more than anything and never tired of regaling friends with stories of how they met and the good times they had together. The last few years his pets Elsa and Anna gave him great joy too as they shadowed his every step. My life is much richer for my friendship with Ron and my sadness at his passing is profound.

Ron was my bigger than life older brother who I loved, admired, and respected. Since he was the oldest of the siblings, he was the one I would consult when trying to remember or clarify certain events long buried in the fog of years past. He would not only provide the details, but would often accompany his remembrance with family photos from that time. He was kind of a family historian. When he visited with us at our cottage in Maine, we spent many hours reminiscing about Roberts family trivia. My only regret is that I never had a chance to say goodbye. Love you Ron. You were the best.

My favorite memory of Uncle Ron is that he used to call me "Rockin' Renee". Uncle Ron also had a tremendous sense of family and tradition. He could relate historical events and prided himself on visiting his extended family and chronicling their stories.
