Obituary of Kevin Francis Higgins

Kevin F. Higgins passed away at his home in Rockaway, NJ on February 1, 2019, surrounded by his family at the age of 56 after putting up a courageous fight against cancer. Born in Bethpage, NY he lived in Massapequa, NY before moving to Rockaway, NJ 23 years ago. Kevin was the President / C.F.O. of Hart Energy Publishing in Houston, TX for many years. He was a graduate of Hofstra University and enjoyed music, photography, playing darts and cards with his neighborhood friends while making people laugh with his many jokes and was always up for a good debate. Above all else Kevin was a family man who loved nothing better than spending time with his wife, children, family and friends and his nephew Thomas with whom he was a father figure to. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Kimberly (Kepler) Higgins of Rockaway, NJ and by his loving daughters Ashley and Lindsey Higgins of Rockaway, NJ. He is also survived by his sisters Carol Mannino of Amityville, NY and Kathy Presuto of Coram, NY. Also surviving are his father in-law Anthony Kepler of Rockaway, NJ, his sister in-law Jo Ann Daly of Rockaway, NJ, his 3 nieces and nephew and his best friend Mark and his wife Rosemarie Rollino of Long Island, NY.
