Visitation at Funeral Home
Obituary of Patricia Titone
Patricia Natalie Titone (Kaye) passed away peacefully in Morristown on January 16, 2019
at the age of 91.
Pat was born in Brooklyn NY, where she met the love of her life, Anthony (Tony) Titone. The couple married in 1947. After living in Maspeth, NY where their first two children, Diane and Cheryl were born, Pat and Tony moved to Farmingdale, NY and then to Morristown, NJ in 1960 where Patricia Lynne and Charles were born. After a brief stay in Syracuse, NY, the family then settled in Denville, NJ in 1969, a place they called home for 24 years.
Pat and Tony were active members of the Denville community, volunteering their service through the Kiwanis Club of Denville, the Salvation Army, Camp Fatima NJ and supporting the town’s assistance board.
Pat was a loving wife and mother. While Tony travelled for his work as a consulting engineer, Pat was the anchor for the family, manning the home front and caring for not only their children, but extended family and friends as well; the door was always open at the Titone household. In their spare time, the couple loved to travel with friends and family, enjoy shows and trying their luck in Atlantic City and spending time with their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. After Tony’s passing, Pat carried on, doting on her grandchildren, playing bridge and enjoying social events with her many friends.
Pat was predeceased by her loving sister, Louise Boland, in 1998, her beloved husband Anthony J. Titone in 2002, and her loving daughter, Diane Counselman, in 2002.
Pat is survived by her children, Cheryl and her husband John Peterson, of Seattle, Wa., Patricia L. Titone and her husband David Butts of Morristown, NJ, and Charles and his wife Maryann Titone of Denville, and her grandchildren Alexandra Peterson, Dylan, Spencer and Jayson Butts, and Courtney and Tyler Titone.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1pm with a memorial visitation held prior, from 11am to 1pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. www.normandean.com
