Obituary of Karen Jean Cole

Karen Jean Cole (Blaine) passed away suddenly at Newton Medical Center on December 3, 2018, at the age of 46. Born in Denville, NJ she had lived in Rockaway before moving to Augusta, NJ 17 years ago. She earned her Associates Degree and worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Skylands Medical Group in Landing, NJ. Karen loved reading books, going to Maine, Lighthouses, the NY Giants, Harley Davidson's, the holidays, especially Christmas, all things involving moose, going to"Camp" on Lake Ontario, which she called her "Happy Place", but most of all she loved being with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Sean David Cole and her loving children Brianna Jean Cole and Dylan Cole, all of Augusta, NJ. She is also survived by her father Robert Blaine, as well as Thomas Winch, her brother in-law Matthew Cole, sister in-law Janet Togno, sister in-law Kelly and her husband John Podgurski, Nieces and Nephews Charmaine and Jarred Podgurski, and Brian and Jordan Cole as well as many cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday December 7, 2018, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
