Obituary of Marilyn Morlock
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marilyn Morlock. She passed peacefully on Thursday, November 29th at the age of 89. A Graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Friday, December 7th at 1 pm. Please keep Midge and her family in your prayers.
Marilyn was born to the late Robert and Lenore. After her schooling she met Frank L. Morlock and the couple married. They raised eight children together and made a good life for themselves. She worked for many years as a Directory Assistance Operator (411) for Verizon Telephone Co. She loved the NY Yankees, particularly Derek Jeter and enjoyed watching the games. She stayed sharp with crosswords and knitting, making beautiful handmade gifts forher family and friends through the years. Her greatest joy was her family. She adored her grandchildren and was proud to be Nanny to so many. Later in life she was crowned Great Nanny! Although we are saddend by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with loved ones and is watching over this family with love.
Predeceased by her husband Frank of 69 years and her children Frank and Cynthia, she is survived by her loving children John, Sharyn, Leigh, Thomas, Dennis and Michael, 18 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren; and many more dear relatives, friends and neighbors.
