Obituary of Gilda Rose Longordo

Please share a memory of Gilda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Gilda “Jill” Rose Longordo, of Succasunna, formerly of Wharton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Merry Heart Health Care Center. She was 89 years young.

Born and raised in Manhattan to the late Emanuel and Lucia Mianulli, she was one of four daughters. After graduating High School, she became a Hairdresser working for a salon in Brooklyn. Gilda was a very classy, well-respected, well-spoken, independent, intelligent, trustworthy, and fierce woman. As much as she enjoyed her time to herself, she truly cared about people and was always available to lend an ear and offer advice when someone needed it. Gilda was young at heart and had a special talent for talking to adolescents and offering realistic and honest advice about the world. She was truly a one of a kind woman that will be sorely missed.

Predeceased by her husband Carlo and her three sisters, Mary, Laura, and Liz, she is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Rose Ann L. Zaloshinsky and her husband Alan, Anthony Ribaudo and his wife Roseann, and Theresa Ribaudo.  She also leaves behind her great nieces and nephews, Maria, Adam, Lauren, Anthony and Briana.
