Doris and I were away in Florida and were saddened to hear of Jeffrey’s passing upon our return. We only knew Jeffrey as a child and lost touch some years back. However after reading his obituary it was not surprising that he achieved so many successes in his short lived life. We wish to send our deepest condolences to the entire family.

Jeff joined us at ITT when we needed great young talents most. When I seen his resume I asked for a copy! It was pure art and his life seemed so full for one so young. He was helpful when others were too busy. He was someone you instantly liked and knew he would go far. I regret that life had different plans, May his God Bless his family and welcome him home.

I don't know what to say. I worked with Jeff on multiple occasions, but I best remember him as a fellow member of the Toastmaster's club. I remember when he got engaged, married, and became a father, and the great pride and joy that he took in each of those milestones. My heart goes out to all of you, and especially to Jude. I will always remember Jeff and his joy for life.

What a sad day for all who knew you. Jeff you were such a good guy. And so intelligent. I swore you would be the CEO of the company one day.and you most definitely deserved that title. I always bugged you about some sort of process improvement and never did you hesitate to help. Thank you for all the help thru the years and thank you for being such a kind soul. My thoughts and prayers go out to your wife, your baby boy, your parents and the rest of your family . I know this is a great loss for them. May your soul rest in peace Jeff.

We never had the time to sit and talk, but I do remember the time I asked you about the work you were doing for the government and you said to me "Uncle Vinnie if I tell you i would have to kill you. Thank God you never told me. I tell my children when someone dies it is good to talk about them, good or bad, it keeps them alive. I know of noting bad they could say about you, especially when it comes to your manicotti. You are a good husband and father andI know you will keep watching over them. Love, Uncle Vinnie

It was such a pleasure and privilege getting to know Jeff. Our careers often intertwined and I counted myself extremely fortunate to have been able to work directly with him on numerous projects, travel with him to various business sites, and enjoy his company for countless lunches. His insight and knowledge on a wide range of topics was always engaging and he shared it with unselfish enthusiasm. He was a trusted friend and a steadfast team member of immeasurable value. Jeff will continue to live in my memory and influence my thoughts and actions, the rest of my life. My heart weeps for his passing and the loss felt by all who loved him.

When Jeff was a teenager we played guitar together in the folk group at St. Brendan in Clifton. He was a real talent, funny, and took it all in stride, when I knew he was even better on the keyboards. Once in a while Gary would let him get on the organ and he could wail. I know he had some health struggles then and was so saddened to hear of his passing at such a young age. Our sincere condolences to the family.

To Jeff's family, thank you for sharing your wonderful son, brother, husband and dad with us for the past 14 years. I had the blessing to meet Jeff during his first interview with ITT and knew immediately he was someone special. His brain was amazing, his always evolving interests fascinating. I counted on Jeff often, seeking his perspectives and suggestions. For those who had the privilege to work with Jeff, his memory can be honored by behaving as he did - put others before self, be part of a solution, see possibilities, treat all people with respect. Deeply saddened, Rachelle Tucci

I miss him deeply and he will always be in my heart and prayers. Rest in peace my young man. Love ya, T

Elizabeth, Jude, Mr. & Mrs. Trovato, I am so sorry to hear about losing Jeff this is devastating. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. Jeff is an amazing person that touched my life and impacted my soul. We became instant friends from the jump here at work, taking golf lessons where we never seemed to really progress; ever, and always finding an excuse to rationalize going out for burgs. I'm going to miss our Doritos & Sprite Thursdays here at work, your amazing and goofy sense of humor, willingness to always help me and continually call me out, especially in your Napoleon Dynamite voice, and hanging out in Hoboken back in the day. When you met Elizabeth I remember knowing instantly that he found his person, you were so happy, and then when you had beautiful Jude you became the proudest dad. I prayed for you knowing your silent struggle these past years. You are so strong, you've been a fighter since you were a kid. For only 37 years young you have changed my world and I am so honored that you are my friend. Have a dogg for me up there buddy. Kristen ~

My condolences to family and friends.
Jeff was not only my colleague but also a good friend. He was extremely intelligent and did so many meaningful things for the company. He was the type of guy everyone wanted on their team. He was a thinker and a problem solver. He was a great listener and a very compassionate person.
I have many fond memories of Jeff; lunches, happy hours, work travel, work projects, and parties. We enjoyed our lunches and always looked for new places to try out. Lunches are where we talked about things happening in our lives. My daughter loved Jeff’s grilled lemon chicken. For years he helped run the company ski trip and even improved that process by creating a website for it. Now that I think about it, Jeff even created an optimization routine to help with lunch pizza ordering. Words that come to mind describing Jeff are; dependable, trustworthy, honest, and thoughtful.

I have only the fondest of memories. To this day, I'm always telling my patients about how Jeff insisted on attending classes between his morning and afternoon radiation treatments and how we played catch with a nerf ball while he was still attached to ventilator! His spirit and courage have left a lasting impression with all who were privileged to know him.
